Dear Parents & Guardians,
This November, we will be focusing our collective energy on thanking all of the members of our school community who make the difference for each of us during this Thanksgiving season. Thanking each other is a small measure of what makes Nitschmann special – above all, it is our relationships that make our school into a place of learning & friendship.
You, as a parent/guardian, can join us by printing out the attached Lion’s Paw and either:
1) Send it in with your child to thank someone who makes a big difference in the life of your child
or
2) Email it to me and I will pass it along to the person you want to thank.
This activity will run in the two full weeks of November, from November 6-17, 2017. It is our goal to create a school-wide piece of art that focuses our attention on giving thanks to each other. All students & staff are participating, so you may even get one from someone at school! If you use social media, you can also use our hashtag for the month #Lionsarethankful
