MORNING DROP OFF – Attention parents and guardians dropping off your children in the AM. Fairview Street and Grenadier Blvd are becoming DANGEROUS for students, staff, and families in the morning. Linden is for BUS students, Fairview is for STAFF, Grenadier and everywhere else is for STUDENTS.
- A FEW STRONG SUGGESTIONS TO HELP KEEP EVERYONE SAFE:
- If you are dropping off your child, please do so BEFORE 7:15 daily. Doors open at 7:15am and students are welcome to enter the warm and dry building.
- If you are running late and dropping off AFTER 7:15 am, I suggest you find an alternative street to drop your children off outside the perimeter of LHS roads. For example, drop your child off on Maple St, Locust, Laurel, Frankfort, Ettwein, High, Greenwich, Hottle, Montrose, of Madison Ave. (Please see the map below labeled with GREEN for suggested areas and RED for areas to avoid in the AM)
Students CAN walk a few blocks and will be completely fine doing so. If they are concerned about being late, they should leave earlier to get to school by 7:25am.
