BOWLING CLUB – Consider joining the BASD High School Bowling Club for a great, inexpensive activity. Meets every Tuesday after school in Rm. 403 for transport to the lanes. All welcome, please have your signed permission form on file before bowling.
Recycling for Sustainability – Meets every day after school in Rm. 507. 1 hour of community service is offered.
Social Justice Club – Meeting every Tuesday in Rm. 305 immediately after school.
Homework Club – Rm. 331. Every Tues., Wed., and Thurs. until 3:45, thereafter. Must sign in before 2:45 to participate.
Lehigh University HS Scholars Program: The application for the Fall 2020 High School Scholars Program at Lehigh University is now open! The selected students will be able to enroll in one class at Lehigh in the fall with tuition cost covered by the High School Scholars program. Students will be responsible for any course materials, course fees, etc. Successful completion of the fall semester would allow a student to be eligible for re-enrollment during the Spring 2021 semester. The Futuros Empresarios – (FE) program is seeking 10th and 11th grade Latino students interested in a 5-week summer entrepreneurial training program that includes a paid internship with local business and organizations. This program is available at no cost to participating students. Interning while in high school is a fantastic way to obtain real world experience before heading off to college. Many high school students use internships as a strategy in deciding their college major, bolstering their college applications, and gaining experience to better prepare in landing that college internship. Please hand in your completed application by March 26.
