INFORMATION FOR SENIORS
The yearbook is in fact about YOU! We welcome your submissions to make this book the best it can be. The yearbook is about each of you and your personal stories, interests, experiences, hobbies, and ANYTHING you are willing to share. For us to accomplish this, we need your help. We encourage you to send us your photos and stories, or anything that we can use to supplement traditional coverage. We will try to include as many of your submissions as possible, but we cannot promise they will all make the book. Such examples include: ● SPORTS — pictures from friends & family, quotes about experiences, players who will continue to play beyond high school (signing day pictures), friendships made, coaches’ perspectives, team bonding, house decorating for seniors, etc. ● ACADEMICS & FIELD TRIPS — Were you on a cool school trip? Did you present a great project in class? Did you have a unique learning experience? Do you know the teacher who always takes pictures during creative lessons and science labs? We want those photos for our book. The more we have, the better. ● HOBBIES & INTERESTS – have you started new hobbies, collections, skills; what are some unique things you are involved in both in and out of school or within the community? We want to hear from you! ● HUMAN INTEREST STORIES – Do you have a story to tell? Did you overcome a challenge? Did you start something new? Did you experience something that changed your perspective? Did you help your community? We are looking for stories to feature this year, and we want your stories. These can be moments that mattered to you—big or small—inside or outside of school and around the community. ● SCHOOL EVENTS, CLUBS, & ACTIVITIES — We cannot attend everything that goes on at Liberty or we only cover a few perspectives. Maybe you have some “behind the scenes” photos that we don’t have. Please share some photos from your experiences at school along with a description of the events or what was going on. The more we have, the more we can feature. ● COLLEGE COMMITMENTS — Each year we take pictures of seniors holding a sign of where they have committed to college. This can be computer-generated or hand-drawn, or you can simply take a picture with your acceptance poster from your college choice. If you made your choice, send us your picture with your sign or college wear to be included in the yearbook.
HOW DO I SUBMIT CONTENT TO THE YEARBOOK There are 2 methods for submitting content to the yearbook.

- Semester 2 Extracurriculars & Junior/Senior Prom (Friday, May 15, 2026)
- Semester 2 Attendance: Students who are chronically absent or chronically tardy during the spring semester may NOT be eligible to attend prom/participate in extracurriculars. Chronic absenteeism is being absent from school 10% or more of the school year. (For example, 18 absences during the 180-day school year; 9 absences during a 90-day semester, 4.5 absences during a 45-day quarter.) Students and families have previously been notified that this level of attendance could result in loss of eligibility for activities and school events. Doors open daily at 7:15am.
- Framework for Citizenship:
- Students who are suspended during the spring semester OR have not satisfied a Level II Infraction intervention may NOT be eligible to attend prom. Please refer to the LHS Student Handbook for more information regarding the Framework for Citizenship. This could impact ANY athletic/club/activity participation in the Spring.
- PROM ONLY – If a student is INELIGIBLE, they will be notified by Friday, April 24, 2026. Students who demonstrate improved attendance and conduct moving forward will be eligible to participate in future school events and activities.

- MORNING DROP OFF
- Attention parents and guardians dropping off your children in the AM. Fairview Street and Grenadier Blvd are becoming DANGEROUS for students, staff, and families in the morning. Linden is for BUS students, Fairview is for STAFF, Grenadier and everywhere else is for STUDENTS. Grenadier BLVD – Pick a lane, stay in that lane. Pull up as far as you can and drop your child off…Continue on Grenadier slowly. Try not to change lanes or turn once you’ve entered the drop off zone.
-
- A FEW STRONG SUGGESTIONS TO HELP KEEP EVERYONE SAFE:
- Do NOT pull into the LHS parking lot for any reason.
- If you are dropping off your child, please do so BEFORE 7:15 daily. Doors open at 7:15am and students are welcome to enter the warm and dry building.
- If you are running late and dropping off AFTER 7:15 am, I suggest you find an alternative street to drop your children off outside the perimeter of LHS roads. For example, drop your child off on Maple St, Locust, Laurel, Frankfort, Ettwein, High, Greenwich, Hottle, Montrose, of Madison Ave. (Please see the map below labeled with GREEN for suggested areas and RED for areas to avoid in the AM)
- Students CAN walk a few blocks and will be completely fine doing so. If they are concerned about being late, they should leave earlier to get to school by 7:25am.
- Electronic Device Procedure – (Does NOT reset for Semester 2)
