DRAMA: The Once upon a mattress after school schedule is as follows:
- Today, January 18, 2018: All cast – Scene 10 (p. 41-43) rehearsal from 3:10-4:30
- Saturday, January 20, 2018: 9-10am: Scene 6 (p. 27-31) Jester, Minstrel, King; 10am-noon: All cast– Prologue and Scene 1
DANCE TEAM: Remember, there is practice today after school. Everyone must attend. The Stomp Show is in 2 weeks!
DEBATE CLUB: Attention all debaters new and old! The next Debate Club meeting will be January 23rd after school in room A105. All members are encouraged to attend. If you have any questions or need a form, please see Mr. Gross in A105 or Ms. Anderson in A204.
GIRL SCOUTS: The girl scouts will be meeting every Friday from 3:10-4:05pm until April 6th.
STEP TEAM: Practices will be Monday, January 22 and January 29 from 3:15 to 5pm. There is also practice is Friday, January 19 and January 26 from 3:15 to 5:20 PM. These practices are mandatory if you want to perform in the stomp show. Attention step team forms that were handed out on Friday’s practice are due to Ms. Bauder today please turn them into her ASAP also chocolate money is due please turn in your fundraising money ASAP.
RALLY FOR PEACE:
- Thursday(1/18)- Actions speak louder than words! Wear something school appropriate that represents your favorite action hero – someone who takes action for what’s right.
- Friday(1/19)- Respect for one another! Wear your team t-shirt or team color to represent working together for peace! We can always count on each other. This is also our Rally For Peace assembly day!
KNITTING CLUB: Session 2 of Knitting Club will be starting today January 18th from 3:05-4:05. All are welcome to join and no prior experience is needed. Stop by Miss Ayre’s room A208 to pick up a permission form.
SPORTS PHYSICALS: Attention any 7th or 8th grade student interested in playing soccer or softball for Northeast this Spring: You must have a sports physical in order to try-out for the Spring sports teams. If you have not had a sports physical this school year, there will be free sports physicals available.
Spring Sports Physicals dates and locations are as follows:
- Liberty High School – 2/8/18 – Auxiliary Gym – 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm – Cost: FREE
- Freedom High School – 2/13/18 – Main Gym – 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm – Cost: FREE
