8th GRADERS: As the weather turns colder and you are invited in the building before the 8:05am bell please keep the following in mind; You may not go anywhere else in the building without a pass, please stand on the green tile only, move toward the front of the group to make room for all of the students- Mr. Beck will let you know where to stop, and finally, voices carry so please don’t yell.
DRAMA: The Once upon a mattress after school schedule is as follows: Saturday, January 20, 2018, 9-10am: Scene 6 (p. 27-31) Jester, Minstrel, King; 10am-noon: All cast– Prologue and Scene 1.
DEBATE CLUB: Attention all debaters new and old! The next Debate Club meeting will be January 23rd after school in room A105. All members are encouraged to attend. If you have any questions or need a form, please see Mr. Gross in A105 or Ms. Anderson in A204.
SPORTS: Boys Basketball: Congratulations to the boys varsity basketball team on their victory over Easton. The boys are away in Nazareth today and then at Trexler next Wednesday. There next home game will be next Thursday verses. a tough Eyer team.
Girls Basketball: We were truly amazed at how well and in sync you played yesterday. An early dismissal and a snow day didn’t cause you skip a beat working as a team this week!!! We are extremely proud of you! During today’s game against Nazareth Let’s focus on working hard and working as one and digging deep for a sisterhood of hustle and heart!!
SPORTS PHYSICALS: Attention any 7th or 8th grade student interested in playing soccer or softball for Northeast this Spring: You must have a sports physical in order to try-out for the Spring sports teams. If you have not had a sports physical this school year, there will be free sports physicals available. Spring Sports Physicals dates and locations are as follows:
- Liberty High School – 2/8/18 – Auxiliary Gym – 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm – Cost: FREE
- Freedom High School – 2/13/18 – Main Gym – 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm – Cost: FREE

GIRL SCOUTS: The girl scouts will be meeting every Friday from 3:10-4:05pm until April 6th.
STEP TEAM: Practices will be Monday, January 22 and January 29 from 3:15 to 5pm. There is also practice is Friday, January 19 and January 26 from 3:15 to 5:20 PM. These practices are mandatory if you want to perform in the stomp show. Attention step team forms that were handed out on Friday’s practice are due to Ms. Bauder today please turn them into her ASAP also chocolate money is due please turn in your fundraising money ASAP.
RALLY FOR PEACE: Friday(1/19)- Respect for one another! Wear your team t-shirt or team color to represent working together for peace! We can always count on each other. This is also our Rally For Peace assembly day! Hope to see everyone supporting peace!
