MAJORETTES: If you are interested in trying out for the Northeast Majorettes for next school year, please plan on attending the practice dates on Monday, April 30th and Tuesday, May 1st from 6PM – 8PM.  Majorette tryouts will be held on Wednesday May 2nd from 6PM – 8PM. Practices and tryouts will be held in the gym.  Please bring your own baton and wear sneakers.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Davis or Mr. Rupnik. 

STEP TEAMMandatory practice today is from 3:15-5:20pm.  Be there!

AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS:

  • Thursday, April 12th – NE Singers – all from 3:10-4:15pm
  • Friday, April 13th – All chorus members who are preparing for the Ethan Bortnick PBS Special are to rehearse from 3:10-4:00pm
  • Saturday, April 14th – All chorus members who are preparing for the Ethan Bortnick PBS Special are to rehearse from 9:00-10:30 AM…donuts, anyone?

Singers who did not receive music for the PBS special should see Mrs. Parker after school so that you can have it to study, which makes rehearsals even more successful.  Thank you for your time and talent…you make us all NORTHEAST PROUD!

WORLD PERCUSSION: Practice today after school!

FUNDRAISERAttention all sixth graders! Would you like to participate in the postponed kickball tournament for 6th graders? It’s only $3.00.  If you would like to participate Thursday during 8th and 9th period, go to homeroom A211 for further information on how to sign up. Have A Great Time!!

*Mini Thon merchandise will be sold at all lunch periods this week. Bracelets, headbands, and lanyards will be sold for $1 each. Long-sleeve t-shirts will be sold for $15 each. Every item that you purchase gets you a ticket towards a raffle to win a free Mini Thon t-shirt.  Please help support Liberty high School’s Mini Thon.

READING OLYMPICSCongratulation to the Reading Olympics Team for their outstanding performance in the Spring Reading Challenge Competition last Thursday.  The team improved their ranking over last year at the competition that hosts hundreds of students from all over the Lehigh Valley.  Special thanks to the team captain, Olivia Korf, for her tremendous efforts of reading to lead the team to its success.  We are Northeast PROUD of Olivia and all the Reading Olympics Team members!
