Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our Northeast “Shout Out” for this first week of April. Believe it or not, we ended the 3rd quarter of this school year on Friday and tomorrow is the first day of the 4th quarter. It is amazing how quickly this year is going and before we know it we will be breaking for the summer. Thank you to everyone that has supported our musical programs by spending this afternoon playing bingo in support of our musicians. Those talents will be on display this week as we host the All City Middle School Chorus Concert on Tuesday. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. On Wednesday our 8th grade musicians travel to see the Broadway show “Wicked” in New York. On Thursday evening we are hosting Dr. Hans Diehl who will be discussing Lifestyle Medicine! If you are interested, please register for this program @FoodPolicyLV link. Hope to see you there!
This week is another busy week out in the fields with our spring sports. Both of our spring sports teams play twice this week, once at home and once away. Our softball team is at home on Tuesday when they host our crosstown rivals, East Hills. On Thursday our girls are away at Dieruff. In soccer on Tuesday our athletes play away against East Hills and then our team closes the week Thursday at home against Bethlehem Catholic. We hope everyone continues to enjoy the remainder of this Sunday, and again thank you if you are supporting our musicians by playing bingo.
