Home / Daily Announcements / Sunday Shout-Out for the Week of April 19, 2020

Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. A second message will follow for our Spanish speaking families. Here is our Northeast “Shout Out” for the week of April 19th. This week begins our fourth week of Tier 5 assignments being sent to children electronically through Schoology. Though our student commitment to completing the assignments online has been very positive, we ask that you as the parent continue to remind our students to check their email and log into Schoology to check messages each and every day. We are trying even harder to keep our students engaged and involved in their school work and in our school community, so please check in on our school’s website and on the district website. Please click on the link titled Remote Learning Resources for Families in the top right hand corner of our homepage.

All families should have received report cards in the mail for the third quarter by this time. Report cards may also be accessed in the school’s Student Access Center online. Please note that we have not mailed home Honor Roll Certificates or other awards at this time. Information regarding just how we plan on following up with students and parents can be found on our school’s website under information contained in the Frequently Asked Questions document.  Please refer to it to answer many of the questions we have been getting regarding this unprecedented time in our school.

Finally, please be reminded that Northeast serves as a food distribution center for our children on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please know that multiple breakfast and lunch items are provided in order to provide for the entire week. This virus is really beginning to impact our families and we hope these distributions help.

Please remember to listen to the experts regarding social distancing and good hygiene, and may you and your family remain safe and healthy. Have a great remainder to your Sunday.
