Good afternoon Northeast Families and Friends. Here is our Northeast “Shout Out” for this second to last full week of April. This past week was exciting as we finished seeing our newest Hornets, as our last visit to the elementary schools was Friday, and our 8th graders were introduced to Dr. Bailey, Principal of Liberty High School. Transitions to the next grade are always exciting, but when they involve a change in school it is even more exciting. We wish all of our children the best as they prepare for these important milestones in their lives.
This week you will find your child’s third quarter report card mailed home, and you should receive the report card no later than Friday. Also, we have our Northeast Band and Orchestra Parent meeting scheduled via zoom on Wednesday.
Finally in sports this week, both our soccer team and softball team are scheduled to play. Tomorrow our Lady Hornets softball team hosts a game against Nitschmann here at home. Both teams play away on Wednesday with soccer playing at Broughal and softball playing at Easton.
We hope everyone enjoys the remainder of the weekend, and we look forward to the start of our week of learning.

que terminamos nuestras visitas a las escuelas primarias y nuestros estudiantes de octavo grado conocieron al Dr. Bailey, director de Liberty High School. Las transiciones al
siguiente grado siempre son emocionantes, pero cuando implican un cambio de escuela
es aún más emocionante. Les deseamos a todos los estudiantes lo mejor mientras se
preparan para estas importantes etapas en sus vidas.
Esta semana recibirás a más tarde el viernes, los informes de calificaciones del tercer
trimestre por correo. Además, tenemos nuestra reunión de padres de banda y orquesta de Northeast programada a través de zoom el miércoles.
Finalmente, en deportes esta semana, el equipo de fútbol y softbol están programados
para jugar. Mañana nuestro equipo de softbol juega contra Nitschmann aquí en Northeast. El miércoles nuestro equipo de fútbol juega en Broughal y el equipo de softbol en Easton.
