WINTER COATSBRRRRRRRRR – Students- Need of  a new winter coat? Teachers, know a  student that might be chilly? Stop by A312 and see Mrs. Derrington!

ACTIVITIES

  • AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: Please hand in your permission slip ASAP for next week’s caroling at the Ed Center. If you have your slip now, please bring it down during homeroom. Thank you!
  • HOMEWORK CLUBS: If you are in 7th or 8th grade and need help with your assignments, join our Homework Clubs on Tuesdays and Thursdays! 8th grade meets in Mrs. Papagni’s room in B305 and 7th graders meet in Ms. Rinaldi’s room A112. You get a snack and milk, too! Miss Rinaldi’s Homework club is cancelled tomorrow, Tuesday December 14th but will be back Thursday.
  • PENNSYLVANIA JUNIOR ACADEMY OF SCIENCE: Calling all Scientists. Do you want to plan and do your own science experiments? Would you like to present your awesome research to other people? Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science might be for you! Come find out Thursday at 3:10, in room A309, Mr. Detwiler’s room. Students from all grades are welcome.
  • READING OLYMPICS: Reading Olympics will meet again, December 17th day 5 in A300, Mrs. Roehrenbeck’s reading room on the 8th-grade floor during Hornet Block! If you have a love for reading and competition please join our club! See Mr. Wynn in A103 for a permission slip.
  • SISTER ACT, JR: We have rehearsal on Monday, December 20th from 3:15-4:15 in the chorus room. Please see Mrs. Parker if you have any questions. Have your script and a pencil ready to go!  See you in the chorus room on Monday, December 20th!  Turn in your contracts if you haven’t done so already – no contract, no script!
  • ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE CLUB: Please bring in your t-shirt order form and money by December 22nd.  If you need another copy of the order form, please see Mrs. Papagni in room B305

ATHLETICS

  • GIRLS BASKETBALL: Our Lady Hornets came up short against Orefield. After being down by 12 points at the half, our girls came out strong and were able to cut the lead down to 4. The final score of the varsity game was 24-20 with Delaney Foster leading all scorers with 8 points and Adelyn Smith putting up 6 points. Our JV game ended in a tie with Kayla Cummings leading the way with 6 points. Great Effort Ladies!!
