HISPANIC HERITAGE CELEBRATIONThank you to the students who represented  Northeast yesterday afternoon and evening, whether it be singing or playing a sport for us yesterday. You make us all Northeast PROUD! Thank you for your time  and many talents.

NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY: National Coming Out Day is Tuesday, October 11th. Please support all students who are brave enough to simply become who they are and share that with our Northeast Nation. TRUE COLORS CLUB will celebrate this event at our meeting WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12th. LGBTQ+  students AND straight allies are welcome to attend TRUE COLORS meetings. Questions, see Mrs. Anderson in A113.

STAND UP & SPEAK OUTStand Up & Speak Out at the first annual Student IDEAS Conference! This conference is for 6th grade students who want to learn more about Big IDEAS – inclusion, diversity, equity, anti-racism and service! This conference is FREE and lunch will be provided. Space is limited and the event is just a week away – sign up now! 7th and 8th grade students – we need your help! Sign up to volunteer at the event!

ACTIVITIES

  • AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS:The afters chool rehearsal schedule for next week is as follows: Tues, Oct 11th, Wed, Oct 12th, Thurs, Oct 13th. All rehearsals begin at 3:25pm and end at 4:30pm. Thank you for your time and talent.

ATHLETICS

  • FIELD HOCKEY: Yesterday the Lady Hornets field hockey team played a great game against Orefield. Eryka Adams had 13 saves on goal. Madey Roy and Kayla Cummings worked hard on offense and our defense played a strong game. Nice job ladies! Good luck next week against Broughal.
