NATIONAL SCHOOL COUNSELING WEEKToday is the third day of National School Counseling Week. Our focus today is on social emotional wellness. School counselors can provide short-term mental health counseling, but also connect students to long-term school-based our community-based mental health counseling services. In some schools, school counselors also run groups and provide class lessons on a variety of topics. School counselors can teach coping skills to students with anxiety. School counselors provide behavioral support. School counselors can help with problem-solving and decision-making skills. Have you thanked your school counselor today?
