ART COMPETITION: There is a artist competition beginning today. If you are creative and enjoy drawing Northeast step team needs you. Northeast step team would like you to create a design for our T-shirt this year. Please draw your design and turn it into Ms. Bauder by December 14th. The team will select their favorite design. The winner of the competition will have their artwork on our T-shirt and will receive a free T-shirt as well. Any questions please see Ms. Bauder.

SPORTS: Wrestling practices start Friday Nov. 18th at Liberty HS.
DEBATE CLUB: The next debate club meeting will be held December 6th after school in room A105. Please plan on being there. Any questions see Mr. Gross or Mrs. Schenk.
SUPERHERO RESEARCH CLUB: Please see Mr. Spieker and give him $2 either today or Monday or Tuesday. There will be a pizza party on the last day of Super Hero Research Club on Dec. 1st. Again, give Mr. Spieker $2 as soon as you can.
ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE CLUB: Could you survive a zombie apocalypse? There is only one way to find out- join the survive the zombie apocalypse club.We will be holding a general interest meeting on Wednesday 11/30 in room A305. Permission slips and information will be given out at the meeting. The club will be held on Tuesdays starting December 6th from 3:05-4:25. Those who arrive survive. See Mrs. Papagni or Mr. Speaker if you have any questions.
BOOK FAIR: The Book Fair is back. You will be able to check it out and make purchases now through student led conferences until Tuesday November 22nd in Mrs. Roehrenbeck’s room A300. Stay tuned for a closer look at the titles and more information about our upcoming book fair!
STUDENT LEADERSHIP COUNCIL: Box-Tops are still being collected and Student Leadership will be having a raffle through Christmas. To be able to enter the drawing, you need to bring in a complete sheet or bag of 50 Box-Tops. Don’t forget to put your name on the bag or sheet. Remember, the Box-Tops shouldn’t be stapled or taped on the back of the sheet. Also, hand in bonus Box-Tops in a separate bag. Thank you from Student Leadership.
RALLY 4 PEACE: Many of our Northeast students created pavers for the International Day of Peace. We haven’t forgotten to select some saying to have engraved on real pavers. Our Rally 4 Peace participants are busy creating their presentations and will be part of the selection committee once their work is completed. Our plan is to announce the selected slogans in January, during the Week of Peace. We apologize for not clarifying this earlier.
KEEPING KIDS WARM: It’s your last chance! This weekend, clean out those closets! Donate your hats, coats, scarves and gloves that you don’t need anymore. Monday morning is the last day for the collection! All donations will go to our NE families or to other local families. We will have a table set up in the cafeteria with all the donated items. Stop by during conferences if you or your family need any of these things. We need your help! Don’t forget and donate on Monday!
