Sunday Shout-Out – Week of January 22, 2017: Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our Northeast “Shout Out” for our week of January 22rd. It is hard to believe that we are now in the 2nd semester of our school year and that our quarterly report card will be distributed to students this Friday the 27th. Mark your calendars, as our Student Led Conferences for the 2nd quarter will be held the evening of February 16th. Eighth grade students will focus this conference not just on their academic progress here at Northeast, but also the academic direction they are intending to take at Liberty High School. The first parent orientation for the Liberty class of 2021 will take place this Wednesday at Liberty, beginning at 7 p.m. We hope to see many of our parents at Liberty for this very important information filled evening. Our 8th grade course selection for next year begins the following week when Liberty’s counselors come down to meet with our students.
In athletics this week both our boys and girls basketball teams each have two games. On Tuesday both our teams play make up games that were rescheduled. The boys play Raub Middle School at Raub and our Girls play Whitehall at home. Then on Thursday our students play Eyer. Our girls are at home and our boys go to Eyer. We end our week not on the basketball court but rather on the dance floor when our NEPTO parents and our Liberty students combine to host a mini thon dance in our cafeteria. What a wonderful way to end our week! Have a great remainder to your Sunday.
