Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our Northeast “Shout Out” for this week that starts November on Thursday. We have a number of student activities planned for some of our students this week. Our sixth grade seminar students are participating in an archeological dig on Tuesday at the Freemansburg Canal Park. On Thursday we have a special day for our entire 8th grade class when we are privileged to have the Shakespeare Willpower Tour 2018 perform A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This is an all day workshop ending with a full production of the play. A great experience our 8th graders are blessed to be given. Also on Thursday our 7th grade seminar students will be trying their best at the “Escape the Room” challenge.

This week our school hosts free sports physicals on Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m. for all student athletes wishing to try out for a winter sport. The free sports physicals will be conducted in our gymnasium and sports physical packets may be picked up in either office here at school.

Believe it or not, this week we officially end the first quarter of the school year and begin the second quarter with respect to our grading. Our first quarter ends on Wednesday, October 31st with our second quarter beginning on Thursday. Noting this, please be prepared to receive communication from your child’s team of teachers regarding the scheduling of our first quarter Student Led Conferences.
