This project will provide high school students the opportunity to participate in the 2018 Lehigh Valley Science and Engineering Research Fair, Delaware Valley Regional Science Fair, and the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science Fair. Students will be tasked with learning more about the world around them through experimentation. The content-specific learning outcomes will vary for each student depending on the topic of their project, but all participants will further their knowledge of, and exposure to, the biological sciences, physical sciences, social sciences, and/or engineering. Students will gain a better and more authentic understanding of the scientific process as they undergo their own scientific investigation. Students will be monitored throughout the process by the science fair advisor, and a panel of judges at each science fair will formally evaluate their projects in February, March, and April.
