Join us Saturday, June 1, 2024 for our 7th annual walk.

Register for the walk and pre-purchase t-shirts by May 6, 2024

When: Check in begins at 9:30 am and we will begin our walk at 10:00 am *RAIN OR SHINE*

Where: We will begin our walk at Governor Wolf Elementary School (1920 Butztown Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18017). Traveling on Shakespeare Road, to Freedom High School, and then returning to Governor Wolf

Cost: NO cost to walk! However, donations are welcome. The Kim Donatelli Memorial Fund was started in honor of Kim Donatelli. Kim was a teacher well known and loved throughout the BASD. This fund provides college scholarships to a Freedom High School student majoring in Education.

  • We would like to thank United Rentals of the Lehigh Valley for their continued support. We
    would also like to thank the Governor Wolf PTA for making this event possible.
  • Celebrate by taking a walk with us! Wear your shirt, get some fresh air, and spread joy.
    Snap a pic of you and your family during the walk and post it to our Facebook page throughout the weekend of June 1, 2024.
  • We will be having a 50/50 raffle at the event.
  • Afterwards, bring some cash for treats from Oogies Ice Cream Truck!

Each year our shirts have a unique theme, designed by Lex Donatelli. They are meant to remind us of Kim Donatelli. Purchased shirts will be available for pickup only on the day of the event after check-in.

In partnership with the Donatelli Family and Governor Wolf Elementary School PTA, The Foundation for the Bethlehem Area School District is pleased to announce its establishment of the Kim Donatelli Memorial Fund.

The fund was established to memorialize the accomplishments of community member and Bethlehem Area School District teacher, Kim Donatelli while giving back to the community. The Kim Donatelli Memorial Fund will award scholarships and support educational enrichment programming, with emphasis on supporting student career pathways in education.

Kim was a 1981 graduate of Freedom High School, graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Chester University in 1985, and later received her Master of Science Degree in Education from Wilkes University. She was a teacher for the Bethlehem Area School District for 22 years, spending the last 11 years teaching first grade at Governor Wolf Elementary School.
