Dr. Brittany Reese, Principal 2026-2027
Dear Broughal Community,
It is an honor and privilege to serve as the principal of Broughal Middle School. This year will be my 16th year in education and my 9th year at Broughal. Previously, I served as an 8th grade Social Studies teacher and as the Dean of Students. At Broughal, it is our mission to provide each child with a high-quality education that exposes them to healthy challenges and opportunities to explore their passions and interests. We believe in creating environments where all students can become resilient, reflective, and creative leaders who will shape a bright future for themselves and positively impact the world around them.
I am eager to continue connecting with our students and cultivating strong relationships with Broughal families. I firmly believe in and advocate for a team-oriented approach to student support. Parental involvement and input are crucial in building a robust and supportive team, empowering our students to achieve their fullest potential. Increased parental engagement during their child’s middle school years, and with the school community, directly correlates with improved student performance. We genuinely welcome your active participation and look forward to meeting each of you throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
