TEAM ESU:
Mrs Conkle/ELA: Students will start up a new fiction passage in Study Sync!
Mrs. Harclerode/ESOL: Students will work on figurative language, context clues and vocabulary with a new story!
Mr. Schomaler/SS: Students will complete their first project, My Island Project then begin learning about Prehistory.
Ms. Lando/Math: Students will continue work in Unit 2 with ratios, QUIZ ON THURSDAY
Mr Lyons/Science: Students will dig for fossils and learn what factors create them.
7th Grade – No News to report
8th Grade – 8th Grade Welcome Letter
Team Lafayette will visit Fountain Hill to meet their reading buddies on Friday, October 11th
Related Arts – German students in all grades will be working on a German American project to learn and celebrate German American Heritage and National Teach German Day the first week of October. Bethlehem, the Lehigh Valley, and Pennsylvania have deep historical connections to German immigrants from the colonial period to the present day. Grade specific themes are:
- 6th grade: Culture, Holidays, & Traditions
- 7th grade: People (famous or not!)
- 8th grade: Products & Companies
