We are delighted to announce that during the month of February, Bethlehem Area School District will once again celebrate Black History Month. This annual observance is a time for us to recognize, honor, and reflect upon the rich and impactful history, culture, and contributions of Black Americans. In 2024, the focus of Black History Month is on African Americans and the Arts.

During the month, we will showcase different African Americans and the Arts. We will also have TRIVIA on each Wednesday in the month of February starting February 7th. Watch during the day for the trivia question, then quickly send your answer to bclymer@basdschools.org.  The first four correct responses will receive some type of BASD swag and bragging rights.

Best wishes,

Eric Fontanez, Supervisor of Equity Initiatives

Barbara Clymer, Communications Coordinator
