Mr. Horvath began his teaching career in the Bethlehem Area School District after graduating from Moravian College in 1998. He then received his Master of Science Degree in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University. Prior to becoming the principal of East Hills Middle School in 2009, Mr. Horvath served as an assistant principal and teacher at both East Hills Middle School and Fountain Hill Elementary School.
Mr. Horvath was born and raised in Bethlehem and is a product of the Bethlehem Area School District having attended Spring Garden Elementary School, East Hills Middle School, and Freedom High School. East Hills Middle School has had a significant impact on Mr. Horvath’s life. He has positively benefited from the school as a student, teacher, administrator, and parent. He currently serves the students, staff, parents, and community of East Hills in the hopes of creating a similar, fulfilling Experience in Excellence.
Mr. Horvath is a proud resident of Bethlehem Township where he lives with his wife and three children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching, watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Lehigh Valley IronPigs, and running. Additionally, Mr. Horvath, his family, and his administrative team and staff are always enthusiastic about attending and supporting all of the wonderful events happening in and around the school and community.
