CHESS CLUB: The Second Session of Chess Club will be starting up again on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. They will be for Five Wednesday again. Same time and same place in Mr. Spieker’s room in room A108. If you are interested in Joining, and didn’t join in the fall, feel free to grab a permission form outside of room A108 on the 7th Grade Floor. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Spieker.
DEBATE CLUB: The first Debate Club meeting has been moved to Wednesday, January 18th in room A105. All newcomers are welcome. If you are interested you can pick up a permission form from Mr. Gross or Mrs. Schenk. If you have any questions you can also see one of us.

KNITTING CLUB: The 2nd session for Knitting Club will be starting up January 25th from 3:05-4:05pm in room A203 with Miss Ayre. New students are welcome to join, just stop by Miss Ayre’s room any day after school before January 13th to pick up a permission form. All session 1 knitters are welcome to join again. Looking forward to having new and returning knitters.
PEACE WEEK: Attention! Attention! Peace Week is coming January 17th-20th! There will be school wide activities, morning announcement performances and a week of themed dress up days!

PEP RALLY: Tomorrow will be our winter Pep Rally honoring our boys and girls basketball teams! Wear your green and white, and shake your pom poms which will be sold tomorrow in the morning and before the pep rally! The pep rally will conclude with a basketball game where the teachers will attempt to beat the girl and boy team members! Teachers, remember to pack your “A” game, you’re going to need it!
DENTAL EXAMS: Tomorrow, Friday January 13, 2017 the majority of the seventh grade school dental exams will be done in the nurse’s office. Those students involved will have individual hall passes. Students: If you have any dental exam form, please deliver it to the nurse’s office now so we can update the schedule. Approximately 160 exams are scheduled to be done so the exams are expected to last until noontime. The nurse’s office will be closed except to those students having dental exams and those requiring medications. Teachers: Please allow the students to come to the nurse’s office at the time on their pass. If there is an emergency, please call Student Services 42903. You will be notified when the remaining dental exams are scheduled.
