Sunday Shout-Out – Week of January 29, 2017: Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our Northeast “Shout Out” for the last few days of January and beginning days of February. It is hard to believe that we are heading into February. We hope the groundhog does not see its’ shadow this week and we get an early Spring!! Our schedule really begins to pick up from this point forward especially for our 8th grade students. As 8th grade parents saw with report cards our 8th grade students really start to get into the course selection process for high school. It starts this week when our 8th graders begin auditioning for band and orchestra on Monday. Then on Friday our 8th grade students will be meeting with Liberty counselors during the day to review Liberty’s course catalog. Before you know it we will be saying goodbye to the Liberty class of 2021 and welcoming our incoming 6th grade children from the elementary schools.

We have a busy week coming up in the gym with both our boys and girls basketball teams playing 3 times this week. Our boys finally come back home for two games this week. On Monday they face Lower Macungie and on Wednesday our boys play Trexler at home. Our boys end the week away on Thursday at Harrison Morton. Our girls schedule is just the opposite as they play away Monday and Wednesday at Lower Macungie and Trexler and then at home on Thursday against Harrison Morton. Finally we end the week celebrating our P.R.O.U.D. Society students with an Ice Cream Sundae Social on Friday. Have a great remainder to your Sunday!
