AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: Rehearsals:
*Thursday, March 23rd: All City rehearsal for all after school vocal groups from 3:10-4pm
*Saturday, March 25th: BASD All City MS Chorus rehearsal from 9 AM-noon at Northeast
*Monday, March 27th – no after school rehearsal due to the faculty meeting. This is a change from the original schedule.
*Tuesday, March 28th – All City MS chorus rehearsal from 3:10-4:00
*Wednesday, March 29th – no rehearsal
*Thursday, March 30th – BASD All City MS rehearsal at 7:30 AM at Northeast. Please arrange accordingly…we are the host school. No rehearsal after school. Concert at 7 PM.
DANCE TEAM: Dance team, don’t forget to see Mr Huie for forms and to turn in money. All money is due next week.
SCHOOL PHYSICALS: Today, March 23, 2017 school physical exams will be done in the nurse’s office. Most of the students involved are sixth graders and all students involved will have individual hall passes. Students: If you have any physical exam form, please deliver it to the nurse’s office now so we can update the schedule. While the physical exams are being done, the nurse’s office will be closed except to those students having physical exams and those requiring medications. Teachers: Please allow the students to come to the nurse’s office at the time on their pass. If there is an emergency, please call Student Services 42903.
DEBATE CLUB: Meeting Thursday, March 23st, after school in room A105. All members should attend. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Gross or Mrs. Schenk.
SPORTS: Today, March 23 there will be an informational meeting with the Varsity Cheerleading Coach from Liberty High School for any 8th grade cheerleader or anyone that is interested in Liberty High School Cheerleading for the 2017-2018 season. The meeting will be after school in the health room. Hope to see you there! GO Canes!
DISMISSAL: All students are to leave the school building upon dismissal at 3:05PM unless you are signed up and participating in an after school activity. Students MAY NOT wait in school or on school property for friends or siblings that are attending an activity. All students who participate in after school activities must also leave the building as soon as their activity is over. Students are not allowed to be in the building unsupervised!
FUNDRAISER: Angelina and Daniela will hold their pajama day today March 23rd. It is for 6th grade students and staff only. Also, don’t forget to bring your $2 donation to wear pajamas.

My teachers have challenged me to change the world and so I have decided to help a local, no kill animal shelter called Peaceable Kingdom. Make sure you check out the list in your homeroom or around the building. The list will have things the shelter needs. Please make sure you donate! Thank you for helping me help the animals.
