THOUGHT OF THE DAYSomebody once did some research on two different groups of people. One group did volunteer work. They volunteered in the community because they cared about people. The other group didn’t do any volunteer work. Guess what the results were? Those who did volunteer work at least once a week outlived those who did not by more than two or one. What do you think that says about others? About serving others?

Now listen to the words of 19th century English author, Hannah More: None are too small, too feeble, too poor to be of service. Think of this and act. Hannah More created schools for underpriviledged children. Today, ask yourself how you can serve others in your school or your community or at home. If the research is right , you might live a longer and healthier life
