DECEMBER DANCE: Friday, December 7th, is our winter dance from 6pm to 8pm. This dance is sponsored by the Athletics Department and we encourage you to attend and support the sports program here at Northeast. Teams will be providing concessions for students to purchase, we will have a raffle for various gifts, and other exciting things for you to do at the dance. Hope to see you there.
DRAMA FUNDRAISER: Who’s hungry? Who would like to eat some delicious food AND help to support NEMSTC’s production of The Lion King Jr.? Martellucci’s is sponsoring a Dine to Donate fundraiser on December 4th, 5th, and 6th. A portion of the sales will go to Northeast Middle School’s musical production! GRADE 6 FUNDRAISER: Good Morning 6th grade! Danny has created a fundraiser for the great cause of The Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia. If you don’t know what The Ronald McDonald house is it is a free hotel for parents whose child is in the hospital. Danny is hosting an Electronics Day! On Friday December 7th every student that gives their homeroom teacher $5 will receive a ticket and on December 7th you can use that ticket to play on your electronic during lunch! Don’t forget to bring in $5 to your homeroom teacher by December, 7th so you can participate. Thanks for your support and we’ll see you there with your electronics!
NORTHEAST GOT TALENT: Attention Northeast got talent participants. There will be a mandatory meeting after school on Tuesday of this week. There have been changes to audition dates and format that you must be aware of. Also, anyone that hasn’t signed up yet and would like to, you are more than welcome to come and sign up. The meeting will be in the cafeteria and will promptly start at 3:15. The meet will only last a few minutes. Any question please see Mr. Fanger.
PROUD SOCIETY: Just a reminder that, in order to join the Proud Society, you need to earn seven Proud Pounds and complete the Proud Society application. Please see your homeroom teacher for the application. You may turn in your Proud Pounds during Activity Period on Activity Days. Thank you for making us Northeast P.R.O.U.D.!
SPIRIT WEAR: Spirit wear order forms are now available! Please see your homeroom teacher for an order form. Orders are due Tuesday, December 4th!

- GIRL SCOUTS: Girl Scouts Please let your parents know that Girl Scouts will meet every Friday after school in the cafeteria.
- WORLD LANGUAGE CLUB: Our cultural food fiesta will be on Wednesday, December 12th in B201. The food sign-up sheet is located right outside Señorita Danner’s classroom. Hope to see you there!
- ZOMBIE CLUB: Attention all Northeast students who are interesting in surviving the imminent zombie apocalypse. There will be a general interest meeting for students who would like to join zombie club on Friday December 7th. The meeting will be held in room A307 at 3:05pm and end at 3:45pm. - WORLD PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE: Don’t forget that tomorrow, Wednesday, during activity there is practice. There is also practice this Thursday after school. Concert is in ONE WEEK. Let us all be there so that we can perform!
DROP OFF TABLE: Student Services has a drop off table. If you are expecting something dropped off, please come to the Student Services drop off table for pick up. Ms. Osorio will write you a hall pass or sign your pass. If you are expecting money, please see Ms. Osorio. Money will not be left on the table.
BOXTOPS: Want to help our school raise money? Please bring in boxtops for education. Boxtops can be found on so many items! Simply cut them off and bring them to your homeroom teacher. Homeroom teachers can then send them to Mrs. Derrington or Mrs. Braido and student council will take care of the rest.
SAFE TO TELL: It’s SAFE to Tell.” The SAFE Team exists to help students with problems in a confidential manner to help remove any and all barriers to education. You can refer your friends or yourself. Just fill out the SAFE to Tell form which you can find in your homeroom, Student Services, the Library and the Main Office and drop the form in the SAFE Box or give it to your homeroom teacher who will deposit the form for you.
