NEW BETHANY MINISTRIES FOOD DRIVE: Attention all students and staff! Team Leaders Rock 2.0 is holding a food drive starting next week Monday, January 14, through Friday, January 18. Our goal is to help the homeless by donating to New Bethany Ministries. Please donate non-perishable items and bring them to your homeroom teacher. On Friday we will be around to each homeroom to collect the donations. Start off your new year by helping people in need. Thanks for your support!!!
RALLY 4 PEACE: Attention all Rally 4 Peace performers, there are mandatory rehearsals in the auditorium every day this week during period 2 and after school. Please report to the auditorium immediately after the announcements are over.
RALLY 4 PEACE ICE HOUSE PERFORMANCE: In observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, Northeast’s Rally 4 Peace will be performing a free show at the Ice House this Monday at 5:00pm. There is no school on Monday so this is a great opportunity for you and your family to recognize the importance of Dr. King’s work and show support for your fellow students who are continuing to spread his message of peace and acceptance. The show is not appropriate for young children and NE students must be accompanied by an adult. We hope to see you there.
SAVE THE CHILDREN FUNDRAISER: Do you like to bowl and hang out with your friends? Well then, on Sunday January 20th you can donate to Save the Children and have fun at Town and Country Lanes from 6-8pm. For $12 you can get unlimited bowling, rental shoes and support Save The Children. The snack stand will be open. There will also be raffle baskets to win! Hope to see you on Sunday! Let’s bowl!

- ZOMBIE CLUB: Attention all members of the Zombie Apocalypse Club: T-shirt order forms are due in by 1/21/19. Please bring your t-shirt money and order form to Mrs. Papagni in room B305. If you need a new order form or didn’t get one, please stop up and pick one up. Also our next meeting will be on Monday 1/28/19 from 3:05 – 4:25pm.

- STEP TEAM: There are mandatory practices: January 23, 25, 28, and 30; 3:05-4:30PM – up until we have the Stomp Show. You need to be at practices or you will not be in the show.
ATHLETICS:
- BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM: Practice today has been cancelled. See Coach Carlstrom if you have any questions. Congratulations to both teams yesterday on great wins against Broughal Middle School. The JV team went undefeated against all of the Bethlehem middle schools– City Champs!
DROP OFF TABLE: Student Services has a drop off table. If you are expecting something dropped off, please come to the Student Services drop off table for pick up. Ms. Osorio will write you a hall pass or sign your pass. If you are expecting money, please see Ms. Osorio. Money will not be left on the table.
BOXTOPS: Want to help our school raise money? Please bring in boxtops for education. Boxtops can be found on so many items! Simply cut them off and bring them to your homeroom teacher. Homeroom teachers can then send them to Mrs. Derrington or Mrs. Braido and student council will take care of the rest.
SAFE TO TELL: It’s SAFE to Tell.” The SAFE Team exists to help students with problems in a confidential manner to help remove any and all barriers to education. You can refer your friends or yourself. Just fill out the SAFE to Tell form which you can find in your homeroom, Student Services, the Library and the Main Office and drop the form in the SAFE Box or give it to your homeroom teacher who will deposit the form for you. Don’t worry, “It’s Safe To Tell.
