Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our Northeast “Shout Out” for this first full week of March. First off let us give a huge shout out congratulating all of the cast and crew from this year’s Lion King Jr. production. The show was amazing and everyone should be tremendously P.R.O.U.D. if they had any part to do with the production.
On the academic side please note to check into the Student Access Center for the progress of your children now that we are over the midpoint of the third quarter. Those mid-quarter grades are now finalized and there is still time for children to work hard and improve their grades if they are not happy with their marks thus far. If you need assistance looking at your child’s grades in the Student Access Center please call the main office at 610-868-8581 and ask for Mrs. Rodriquez. Also a friendly reminder to our 8th grade students that all 8th grade Honors Letters of Intent are due by March 15th. You can access the application on Liberty’s website or on Schoology through your Social Studies teacher’s updates.
This week we have our first official tryouts and practices for our spring sports. We congratulate all the students trying out for our teams and we encourage them whether they win or lose to never stop trying. Also starting this week Mr. Rahs, Mr. Sawicki and the guidance counselors begin visiting our elementary feeder schools to meet next year’s incoming 6th grade class. Our first visit is with 5th grade children from William Penn on Wednesday. The end of our week is a busy one for our musicians as we host our Northeast Middle School Jazz Festival on Friday. The music begins at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
