Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends and Happy Mother’s Day. I hope today is finding all mothers and grandmothers pampered and loved. Here is our “Northeast Sunday Shout Out” for the week of May 12th. First we want to thank all of the wonderful parents that showed us such a fantastic level of support and appreciation this past week during Teacher Appreciation Week. We know what being pampered feels like. Thank you so much, and we are so very grateful to have you behind us.
We have a busy week ahead of us. Our 7th grade Team World Explorers is holding their parent meeting on Monday at 5:30 p.m. for all parents who have children participating in the team camping trip. We host our last three elementary schools for their visits this week and also have our incoming 6th grade parents here for a Parent Orientation Thursday evening. We have Marvine visiting Monday, Spring Garden on Tuesday and then Freemansburg on Wednesday. Our Parent Orientation Thursday for parents begins at 6:00 p.m.
Our musicians also have a busy week with our vocal ensembles hosting a concert Tuesday evening and then all of our musicians heading out to Pittsburgh on Friday and Saturday for their Music in the Parks Competition. Finally this week our 8th grade Algebra students will be taking the last of their state tests taking the Keystone tests for Algebra on Wednesday and Thursday. We wish them all the best on this high stakes test.
