NORTHEAST GOT TALENT: It’s time to start refining your talents for Northeast’s Got Talent Competition. All creative talents are welcome to try-out. From dance, song and instruments to story- telling, art, gymnastics and Rubik’s cube champions – WE WANT YOUR TALENT. Northeast’s Got Talent is a way for you to showcase your gifts and help raise funds for Northeast students and your related arts classes. There will be more information to come in the next few weeks.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST FOR NE THEATRE: Come out and support the NEMSTC Pancake Breakfast, held on Saturday, November 16th from 9-11 AM! Enjoy some pancakes, sausages, and assorted beverages. Tickets are $6…you can pre-purchase tickets from Mrs. Parker or a member of NEMSTC, or buy them at the door on the 16th! Hope to see you at Tocci’s!
PICTURE RETAKES: Picture Retakes will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019. Students that would like their picture retaken, please bring your complete original picture packet with you on retake day. Also, any students that were absent on picture day or new students please stop by Student Services for a picture order form.
SUPPORT NE THEATRE: On Wednesday, November 27th, Martellucci’s will be hosting a fundraiser for NEMSTC. A portion of the dine-in or carry out sales will go to Northeast’s musical! Please come out and enjoy some delicious food at Martellucci’s! Remember, it’s Wednesday, November 27th…all day! See you there!
ACTIVITIES
- ARCHERY: Advanced archers! Your tournament will be the following Wednesday on November 8th. Beginner archers will have their first tournament on Friday November 1st. Please remember to invite your parents and tell them to bring a camp chair to sit on for the tournament since there are no bleachers in the auxiliary gym. Both advanced archery and beginner archery will have an end of archery pizza party on November 8th in Mr. Detwiler’s room. The party will run until 4:00pm. Please bring in your $3 for pizza by November 7th. Good luck to all archers who will be shooting in the tournament!
- KNITTING CLUB: Knitting club will be starting November 12th. Any student interested in learning how to knit and/or continue to improve his/her knitting skills, come see Miss Ayre in room A206 for a permission form.
ARTS
- WORLD PERCUSSION: There is practice during activity on Thursday! See you soon, get there fast.
ATHLETICS
- BOYS BASKETBALL: There will be an open gym this Friday, 11/1. It will run from 3:15 to 4:15pm. in the Auxiliary gym. See Coach Carlstrom if you have any questions.
- CROSS COUNTRY: Cross country runners make sure to turn in your uniform to Ms. Tandy in room A106 and pick up your Proud Pound.
- GIRLS BASKETBALL: Girls open gym is cancelled for today October 31. The next open gym will be on November 7th from 3:30-5PM.
- FOOTBALL: If you would like to order a Football City Championship t-shirt or hoodie please see Mr. Korcienski in room A107 for an order form. All orders are due to Mr. Korcienski no later than Friday, November 1, 2019.
DISMISSAL: Students please note that you are not permitted to remain in the building after dismissal unless you are involved in an activity. If you are waiting for a friend, please wait outside of the building.
SAFE TO TELL: It’s SAFE to Tell.” The SAFE Team exists to help students with problems in a confidential manner to help remove any and all barriers to education. You can refer your friends or yourself. Just fill out the SAFE to Tell form which you can find in your homeroom, Student Services, the Library and the Main Office and drop the form in the SAFE Box or give it to your homeroom teacher who will deposit the form for you.
