Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our Northeast “Shout Out” for this week when we start out with our teachers having in-service tomorrow and our students being off from school in observance of Columbus Day. For e-classroom students, please expect that all of your lessons will be pushed out by Tuesday morning if they have not already been put into Schoology. Parents ,remember that Schoology is where we put most all of our academic information for students and should you have questions about accessing Schoology, please reach out to Mrs. Rodriquez in the main office. This may be particularly important especially after receiving your children’s Interim Progress Report. Believe it or not, but this coming Friday we will begin our second rotation of encore classes, as we are already through a sixth of our school year. Many of our children are struggling to keep up with the work, particularly the “online” assignments and the only way we can help children be successful is to communicate. Please have your child reach out to their teachers if they are struggling or to their guidance counselor. We can be successful in this very trying time in school, but only if we are all working together to make that happen.
This week we are heading into our second week of “Fall” sports with our student athletes. Volleyball and field hockey play Nitschmann this week with our girls being away at Nitschmann on Tuesday and then home Friday. Our football team hosts Nitschmann here at home on Thursday. All sporting events this week are scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. on their respective days.
Have a great remainder to your weekend!
