THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Brigadier General Sherian Cadoria once told a story about a childhood incident that made a big impact on her life. She and her brother and sister went shopping, and the cashier gave them back a penny too much change. When they got home told their mom what happened, she made them walk three miles back to the store to return the money. She punished all three of them because she believed that one of them should have known it was wrong and spoken up. Brigadier General Cadoria learned a lesson she never forgot. Remember it takes only one person in a group to say “this is wrong.” It takes only one person to make a difference. The next time you are faced with negative peer pressure , do the right thing. Remember this story and be a leader!
LUNCH: Do you bring your lunch from home? If you do, you can add a fruit, veggie and milk for free!!! That’s right! You can jazz up your lunch in the cafeteria with a fruit, veggie and milk for free if you bring your lunch from home. Bon appetit!!
SAFE: It’s SAFE to Tell. The SAFE Team exists to help students with problems in a confidential manner to help remove any and all barriers to education. You can refer your friends or yourself. It’s now safer and easier to tell: just fill out the SAFE to Tell form which you can find ONLINE in your guidance counselor’s resources folder. Don’t worry, “It’s Safe To Tell.” Thanks for being AWESOME!
