ATTENDANCE CHALLENGE: Do you want to win a donut party for your class? All homerooms will get another shot at the prize in our March Attendance Challenge! The homeroom with the best attendance – think PERFECT attendance – in each grade level will win a donut or ice cream party! The Challenge started March 1 and will end March 31. Winners will be announced the first week of April. Remember: attendance is counted EVERY DAY, so make sure you are logging into Schoology on your at-home days!
PROUD SOCIETY EVENT:Our proud society walk-a-thon will be on Thursday and Friday afternoon this week. Please be sure to wear your Proud Society T-shirt on these days. This, friends, is Rule #1… the Rule of all rules… the Golden rule. It has been spoken by Jesus of Nazareth, Confucius, Gautama Buddha, and Mohammed, to name a few. Aristotle, a Greek philosopher, put it this way: We should behave to our friends as we would wish our friends to behave to us. Today and every day, treat others the way you would want to be treated.
LUNCH: Do you bring your lunch from home? If you do, you can add a fruit, veggie and milk for free!!! That’s right! You can jazz up your lunch in the cafeteria with a fruit, veggie and milk for free if you bring your lunch from home. Bon appetit!!
SAFE: It’s SAFE to Tell. The SAFE Team exists to help students with problems in a confidential manner to help remove any and all barriers to education. You can refer your friends or yourself. It’s now safer and easier to tell: just fill out the SAFE to Tell form which you can find ONLINE in your guidance counselor’s resources folder. Don’t worry, “It’s Safe To Tell.” Thanks for being AWESOME!
DISMISSAL: Students please note that you are not permitted to remain in the building after dismissal unless you are involved in an activity. If you are waiting for a friend please wait outside the building.
WATER FOUNTAINS: Water fountains are only to be used to fill up water bottles and not to be used for getting drinks. Students are allowed to bring a water bottle with them every day and are encouraged to do so!
