Congratulations to our students of our Marching Band on their performances on Saturday, October 30 and Sunday, October 31. On Saturday, the band participated along with the other Bethlehem Area School District middle school and high school marching bands at the Liberty High/Freedom High School rivalry football game at BASD stadium. All of the bands performed on the field for the Pregame Show before the game. They played the Star Spangled Banner along with both the Liberty and Freedom Alma Maters in a mass band performance of over 600 musicians and band front members. They were also treated to watching the football game, and even got the chance to play one of their pep songs in the stands.
Then on Sunday, our band participated in Bethlehem’s 100th Annual Halloween Parade, marching down Broad and Main Streets. The parade was packed with thousands of spectators, and was broadcast on both RCN and Service Electric Cable TV. The parade brought an end to their busy 2021 fall marching season! If you have the chance, watch their performance on one of those stations. Way to go Northeast Marching Band. You make us NORTHEAST PROUD!!!
