Hello Hornet Nation. This is the Sunday Shout Out for April 3rd.
Happy April! This school year is flying by! We are already into the fourth marking period and third quarter report cards will be mailed home next week. Should you have any questions or concerns about your child’s progress, please reach out to their teachers and guidance counselor.
Beginning on Monday, April 4th, students having breakfast at school must enter the building through the breakfast entrance located next to the cafeteria. Breakfast begins at 7:40am and is free for all students this school year. Students should come as early as possible to allow them enough time to eat and avoid delays.
Wednesday evening at 6:30pm, we will be welcoming our incoming 6th grade families to Northeast. The evening will be a chance for them to meet faculty and students, hear about the transition to middle school and take a tour of our school.
In preparing for their transition to high school, our eighth graders and their teachers will be visiting Liberty High School on Friday. They will tour the school and hear about all the opportunities available to them in high school.
On Saturday, April 9th, there will be a mobile drive-thru style food distribution for students of Northeast and their families. Distribution will be at Northeast from 10 am – 12 pm.
As part of the celebration of Earth Day, we want to invite members of our community to get together and help clean and beautify our neighborhood. The Community Clean-Up will be of the Marvine Pembroke Area on April 23rd from 9am – 12pm. Please see the attached flier for information on registering to volunteer or donate.
The Sports Schedule for this week is as follows:
April 4 @ 4pm Soccer @ East Hills
April 5 @ 4pm Softball @ Nazareth
April 7 @ 4pm Softball vs East Hills @ Home
April 8 @ 4pm Soccer @ Nitschmann
Have a great night!
