The variety team was up 2 to zero at halftime. It was in the second half, and the Hornets gave up an unfortunate Penalty Kick. With one goal lead, the Varsity Hornet squad was close in sealing the game with a win. Unfortunately, we gave up a goal with 1 minute left. It was a hard fought match, but the game ended in the tie. As for the JV team, they were able to win with great defense by Brady Vanderer and Brian Alleyne! Emily Alter was strong at Right Back and Nasir Greaves was amazing at Left Back. Jonathan Pena was able to get a goal, and Jowell Martinez scored too with an assist from Zakary Banttari. Congrats JV squad. Come out and support the Soccer team when they face Trexler Middle School after school on Wednesday.
