OUR STELLAR DEFENSE WAS “ROCKING IT OUT!” MAZZ PAULUS AND KAUA COSTA WERE THE PILLARS OF THE DEFENSIVE BACKS. ISACC DE OLIVEIRA WAS BEASTMODE THE WHOLE GAME, AND OUR FILL IN GOALIE, MR. CHRISTIAN HACKETT WAS PHENOMENAL! OUR VARSITY SOCCER TEAM SHUT OUT BROUGHAL MIDDLE SCHOOL WITH A FINAL SCORE OF 4 TO NOTHING. ASSIST CAME FROM CASH PAULUS AND ISSAC GARCIA. THE FOUR GOALS CAME FROM RYAN DUNN, EMMI TERAN, AND TWO FROM ISSAC GARCIA! THE VARSITY HAS 6 WINS, TWO LOSES, AND 4 TIES FOR THE SEASON SO FAR. THE JV TEAM WANTED TO GET REVENGE FOR THE LAST TIME THEY FACED BROUGHAL WHERE THEY LOST. IT WAS A BATTLE ALL GAME! THE HORNETS WOULD NOT BE DENIED. GREAT PLAYS FROM WILLIAMARROYO ABBRAHATE, GIOVANNI GARCIA, ELIZABETH MCCLARIN, AND JIZELLE SANTIAGO HELPED THE JV TEAM NOT LOSE. THE GAME ENDED IN A TIE ZERO TO ZERO. GO HORNETS.
