LOST & FOUND: The Lost and Found closet is located in Student Services. If you have lost something, please come to Student Services to check the closet. If it is a valuable item, please ask Ms. Osorio if it has been turned in. Any items not claimed, will be donated.
AFTERSCHOOL CLUBS: THURSDAYS: ESOL Tutoring Club, YANA, Archery Club – *Baseball Club – we will try again on Friday. Thank you!
DANCE: The 6th and 7th Grade Dance will be held on Friday, May 5 from 6-8pm. Tickets for the dance will be sold during 6th and 7th grade lunches on Wed, Thur & Fri. Tickets are $5.
MAJORETTES: We will be having Majorette Practices for interested Northeast students for the 2023- 2024 school year on May 15, 16, and 17, 2023 from 6-8pm. Tryouts will take place on May 22, 2023 from 6-8pm. Practices and tryouts will take place at Northeast Middle School and we will meet in the Bandroom. Students who are interested in trying out for Majorettes should email me at lgarza@basdschools.org. students should pick up a student information form in the band room.
In addition, we also want to invite interested Northeast students for the 2023-2024 school year to be a member of the Color Guard. Spots are limited so we encourage students to express interest as soon as possible. There is no tryout for Color Guard. Students should just simply email me at lgarza@basdschools.org to let me know they are interested.
FUNDRAISER: THERE WILL BE A CAR WASH FUNDRAISER AT NORTHEAST MIDDLE SCHOOL TO SUPPORT THE PROUD-A-THON AND FUTURE PROUD SOCIETY EVENTS. THE CAR WASH WILL BE HELD ON MAY10TH AFTER SCHOOL FROM 4 – 6PM. TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT ALL LUNCHES ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY THIS WEEK. CAR WASHES MAY ALSO BE PURCHASED ONTHE SAME DAY AT THE EVENT. PLEASE COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE NE COMMUNITY AND THEPROUD SOCIETY AT THIS FUNDRAISING EVENT!
WALKATHON: GOOD MORNING 6TH GRADERS! BECAUSE OF THE RAIN, WE DIDN’T HAVE THE WALKATHON ON FRIDAY. BUT DON’T WORRY! WE RESCHEDULED IT TO THIS THURSDAY MAY 4TH, AND FRIDAY MAY 5TH AS A RAIN DATE. BE SURE TO BRING TWO DOLLARS IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY!
