AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPSTo our Boys Group, Girls Group, and NE Singers: Please pick up your permission slip for next Thursday’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage at Broughal, scheduled for Thursday, September 28th from 6:30-7:30 PM. You and your family are invited to experience many aspects of Hispanic culture, as well as our performance of songs. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Parker. Vive tu vida! 

GIRLS BASKETBALLAttention 7th and 8th grade girl interested in girls basketball. Please mark your calendars. There will be open gym at Liberty High School. Whether you would like to prepare for the girls Northeast Basketball season and tryouts or would just like to practice basketball skills and have fun, come out on any of the following dates 9/11, 9/13, 9/18, 9/20, 9/25, 9/27, 10/2, 10/4, 10/9, 10/11, 10/16, 10/18, 10/23, 10/25, 10/30, 11/1 for open gym basketball from 2:45 – 4:15 pm. KNITTING CLUB: Anyone interested in learning how to knit, come to room B102 for a permission form to join Knitting Club. Our first meeting will be Wednesday, September 27th from 3:25-4:25 PM. 

TRUE COLORS CLUBTrue Colors celebrates inclusivity and is a safe space for our LGBTQ+ students and allies. We will meet on Wednesdays, starting September 27th, from 3:25 until 4:25 PM. If you are interested, see Mr. Wenner in room A304 for a permission slip or tell your homeroom teacher. 

BASEBALL SKILLS CLUBAttention Baseball Skills Club, there is a slight change to the starting date. Due to the field hockey game on Wednesday our first day will be on Thursday September 28th. Thank you!

CROSS COUNTRYCONGRATS TO THE NORTHEAST CROSS COUNTRY TEAM! THEY RAN IN A RACE IN NAZARETH YESTERDAY AND DID SO WELL! SOME HIGHLIGHTS: 3RD-JOEL RAMIREZ, 2ND- EFREN RAMOS, 1ST -QUINTON BROWN. ALL OF NORTHEAST FINISHED WELL AND MADE US ALL NORTHEAST PROUD! 

WORLD PERCUSSIONATTENTION 8TH GRADERS WHO TRIED OUT FOR WORLD PERCUSSION: MR HUIE WILL HAVE THE LIST UP AT THE END OF THE DAY BY HIS ROOM. ALMOST 50 STUDENTS TRIED OUT AND IT WAS A VERY TOUGH DECISION. THANKS FOR ALL THE INTEREST. LOOK OUTSIDE MR HUIE ‘S ROOM AT THE END OF THE DAY TO SEE IF YOU MADE THE GROUP THIS YEAR!
