Sunday Shout-Out – Week of March 12, 2017: Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our Northeast “Shout Out” for the week of March 13th. This week is a busy week for our Northeast Band and Orchestra Students and parents as they have pictures on Wednesday along with their monthly meeting and then finish their pictures Thursday evening prior to the Broughal Jazz festival on Friday. To end their busy week the band and orchestra treat themselves to a night of ice skating at the Bethlehem Municipal rink on Saturday.
Our Health and Physical Education Department along with our community coordinator are also busy this week as they host our first school wide Health Fair on Thursday and Friday. This event has taken months to plan and will include community agencies from across the city and county who will devote their time in order to educate our children about the services they provide and how to live a healthy/active life. We thank all of our volunteers in advance for their participation.
We have our monthly Northeast Parent and Teacher Organization’s meeting this week on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in our school cafeteria. Our parents will then host our monthly dance on Friday.
