Week of September 24, 2017: Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our Northeast “Shout Out” for the last week of September. It is hard to believe that we are at the end of September already and with that we are already midway through the first quarter. Mid Quarter Progress reports will be available to be viewed through the Parent Portal at the end of next week. The official midpoint is the 29th, and that is when we ask that all grades be updated in the grade book in Schoology or in Eschool. If you need assistance or access to your Parent Portal please call the main office at 610-868-8581 and ask for Mrs. Rincon. As we have stated on numerous occasions, please access your child’s grades and progress daily on the Parent Portal in order to keep updated and informed of your child’s progress. Should you have concerns about your child’s progress and grades, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with your child’s Guidance Counselor or Team Leader.
This week we will begin the process, through our Activity period, of preparing our students for the first quarter Student Led Conferences that they will be conducting with you. Activity period is run every Day One and Day Four, and one of the two days teams and teachers devote to helping students organize and display their schoolwork in their “portfolios”. More information regarding the “Student Led Conferences” will follow as we close out the end of the quarter.
This week we have our scheduled School Photos. Packets have been sent home, so please be sure your child wears their best on Wednesday. We end the month with all of our fall sports teams in action. Our Volleyball team plays on Tuesday at home against Raub and Thursday away at Broughal. Our Field Hockey team is away Thursday at Easton while also on Thursday our Cross Country runners have a meet in Lower Macungie. Finally our Football team plays away on Saturday against Allen. The game starts at 9:00 a.m.
Have a great remainder to your weekend!
