SPORTSYesterday, the Northeast Soccer Teams did something that it hasn’t been able to do in almost 10 years. The Varsity and JV Squads beat our Cross Town Rivals Nitschmann! The Varsity team won, 4 to 2. Joseph Snyder scored two goals with two assists. Jeremy Lopez, Anthony Rodriguez, and Benny Villeda all scored a goal. Sayveion Garwood had an assist too. The JV team won 4 to Zero. Damauri Thompson scored two goals. Jude Chichester and Justin Fleming score a goal each, and Megan Ickes had an assist! Congrats to our Northeast Soccer Teams!

*The Lady Hornets softball team endured the freezing cold temperatures yesterday afternoon to get their first win of the season.  It was a team effort as some of the girls played positions they never have before, and they combined to score 21 runs in 5 innings.  Miya (Mee-ah) Williams pitched the whole game for the Hornets to get her first W.  The girls play Wednesday against Nitschmann and Friday again at home as they try to add to the win column.
