- AFTER SCHOOL CHORAL GROUPS: 1) Returning NE Singers – please see Mrs. Parker for a permission slip today regarding a concert this Sunday morning…check in during your lunchtime or after school, if possible…thank you! 2) Auditions: Wed, Sept 4 – Auditions for students interested in Boys Group/Girls Group/NE Singers – 3:15-5:00 in the chorus rm D103, Thurs, Sept 5 – Auditions for students interested in Boys Group/Girls Group/NE Singers –3:15-4:00 in the chorus rm D103 3) Rehearsal & Performance: Fri, Sept 6 – NE Singers – all from 3:10-4:00, Sun, Sept 8 – NE Singers performance at Apple Days – information TBA (20 minute performance during the morning hours at Burnside Plantation – NE Singers perform from 10:15-10:35, other BASD groups will perform from 10:45 until 11:50 AM)
- BAND/ORCHESTRA: Attention 6th grade students: Did you play an instrument last year at your elementary school and were unable to attend summer band and orchestra rehearsal earlier this month? No worries. If you would like to still be a part of the band or orchestra this year, please stop down and see Mr. Rupnik in the band room (D102). It’s still not too late to be a part of the band and orchestra here at Northeast!
ATHLETICS:
- CROSS COUNTRY: Any 7th or 8th grader interested in running on the Cross Country team this season, please see Ms. Tandy in room A106 or Miss Ayre in room A206. We have practices after school from 3:05-4:30pm.
- FIELD HOCKEY: Any girls interested in playing field hockey, please see Miss Rinaldi (A112) or Mrs. Korhammer (D202). Field hockey practices are every day after school from 3:30-5:00 pm. You must have an approved physical in order to play.
- GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Congratulations to the Northeast Girls Volleyball Team for their four-game victories over Saucon Valley. Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity girls played great and brought home first wins in their first games of the season! Congratulations girls!
DISMISSAL: Students please note that you are not permitted to remain in the building after dismissal unless you are involved in an activity. If you are waiting for a friend, please wait outside of the building.
SAFE TO TELL: It’s SAFE to Tell.” The SAFE Team exists to help students with problems in a confidential manner to help remove any and all barriers to education. You can refer your friends or yourself. Just fill out the SAFE to Tell form which you can find in your homeroom, Student Services, the Library and the Main Office and drop the form in the SAFE Box or give it to your homeroom teacher who will deposit the form for you.
