SOCCER: The soccer team played this week against the Nazareth Blue Eagles. The starters and the subs were working hard to give each of us fresh legs to stay in the game. Though Nazareth eventually won the game, our team played better against them this time
than the first time earlier in the season. We did have a great header goal from Donovan Morales from Jean Jeronimo. Keep up the hard work Hornets.

THOUGHT OF THE DAY: I have a secret to share this morning, so listen up. And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is in-
visible to the eye.* These words are from the famous children’s book The Little Prince. What do you think? Did you know that some scientists believe that love really is essential to the survival of human beings? So remember this: Love may be invisible, but acts of love are easy to see. Today, focus on the bare essentials of life. Show somebody some love. This is one secret you don’t want to keep.
LUNCH: Do you bring your lunch from home? If you do, you can add a fruit, veggie and milk for free!!! That’s right! You can jazz up your lunch in the cafeteria with a fruit, veggie and milk for free if you bring your lunch from home. Bon appetit!!
SAFE: It’s SAFE to Tell. The SAFE Team exists to help students with problems in a confidential manner to help remove any and all barriers to education. You can refer your friends or yourself. It’s now safer and easier to tell: just fill out the SAFE to Tell form which you can find ONLINE in your guidance counselor’s resources folder. Don’t worry, “It’s Safe To Tell.” Thanks for being AWESOME!
DISMISSAL: Students please note that you are not permitted to remain in the building after dismissal unless you are involved in an activity. If you are waiting for a friend please wait outside the building.
WATER FOUNTAINS: Water fountains are only to be used to fill up water bottles and not to be used for getting drinks. Students are allowed to bring a water bottle with them every day and are encouraged to do so!
