THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Every morning this school year we’ve paused for a minute to listen to words of wisdom from around the world. We’ve heard the words of poets, philosophers, politicians, religious leaders, and even a small child. So what now? Do we expect you to be the wisest young person in town? Are we looking to see if you’ve sprouted wings? Every person is a darn fool for at least five minutes every day. Wisdom consists in not exceeding the limit. We all do foolish things every day. We say something we wish we hadn’t said. We do something we wish we hadn’t. We’re too hard on ourselves about one thing and not hard enough on ourselves about something else. So the goal this summer is to do your very best to make the wisest choices you can and try not to exceed the limit when it comes to foolish behavior! Then… make it a great summer vacation or not … the choice is yours.
LUNCH: Do you bring your lunch from home? If you do, you can add a fruit, veggie and milk for free!!! That’s right! You can jazz up your lunch in the cafeteria with a fruit, veggie and milk for free if you bring your lunch from home. Bon appetit!!
SAFE: It’s SAFE to Tell. The SAFE Team exists to help students with problems in a confidential manner to help remove any and all barriers to education. You can refer your friends or yourself. It’s now safer and easier to tell: just fill out the SAFE to Tell form which you can find ONLINE in your guidance counselor’s resources folder. Don’t worry, “It’s Safe To Tell.” Thanks for being AWESOME!
DISMISSAL: Students please note that you are not permitted to remain in the building after dismissal unless you are involved in an activity. If you are waiting for a friend please wait outside the building.
WATER FOUNTAINS: Water fountains are only to be used to fill up water bottles and not to be used for getting drinks. Students are allowed to bring a water bottle with them every day and are encouraged to do so!
