Hello Hornet Nation. This is the Sunday Shout Out for October 31.

Attendance is very important in the success of your child at school. If your child must be absent from school, a written excuse or doctor’s note is required for each absence. Excuses can be sent with your child when they return to school or emailed to Ms. Osorio in Student Services. Attached please find additional information on attendance procedures and attendance letters that are periodically mailed home.

Reminder, there is no school on Tuesday, November 2. Thursday, November 4th is picture retake day.  If you would like to have your child’s picture retaken, please have them bring their picture packet with them to school on Thursday. Students that were absent on picture day can have their picture taken on retake day. Please see the attached picture retake flyer. The Boys Volleyball tournament is also on Thursday at Liberty High School’s main gym at 4pm. Please join us. Go Hornets!

The Walkathon was a huge success! Thank you to all families who have made an online account for our walkathon fundraiser! There is still time to make an account and share with family and friends!  The deadline for online donations is Thursday, November 4th.

All students who made an online account celebrated with a donuts last Friday!  We have raffles coming up this week for the children who simply make an account, and prizes for top sellers. Attached is a flyer explaining how to share our Walkathon on Social Media.  It only takes a few minutes to share how Proud we are with our community! Student Leadership is having a Thanksgiving Food Drive. Please see the attached donation list. Thank you everyone for your continued support and generosity.

We would like to congratulate Mr. Wynn and Mrs. Parker for being Teacher Grant Recipients to help enrich the TV Studio at Northeast and music programs in our BASD schools.  We are very NE PROUD!
