REHEARSALS: NE Singers Wednesday, April 19th from 3:15-4:30 PM.
Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. students – we will have rehearsal on Thursday, April 20th from 3:15-4:15 pm and Friday, April 21st from 3:15-4:15 pm in preparation for our performance for Cops ‘n Kids on Saturday, April 22nd from 11-11:20 AM. We’re looking forward to bringing the musical back to our community! See Mrs. Parker for details! Thank you all for your time and talent.
THANK YOU: Thank you to all the students and teachers that donated canned food. We were able to collect 207 cans to donate to the New Bethany Ministries! The homeroom that collected the most canned food was Ms. Anderson with 53 cans. Thank you again to everyone who donated. We are grateful for your kindness!
WALKATHON: WE ARE HAVING A WALKATHON ON FRIDAY APRIL 28 FOR ONLY TWO DOLLARS! THE WALKATHON IS FOR 6TH GRADE DURING 5TH PERIOD AFTER LUNCH. THERE WILL BE FREE WATER. IF YOU WANT A RELAXING BREAK FROM PSSAS AND WALK OUTSIDE WITH FRIENDS, “BRING TWO DOLLARS ON FRIDAY APRIL 28!”* ALL MONEY GOES TO CHARITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
INSTRUMENT DONATIONS: DO YOU OR YOUR FAMILY HAVE INSTRUMENTS THAT AREN’T BEING USED? WE NEED INSTRUMENTS AND CASES! PLEASE DONATE THE INSTRUMENTS AND CASES IN THE OFFICE WHERE THEY WILL BE PICKED UP AND SHIPPED OUT IN THE DISTRICT TO SCHOOLS AROUND US! 100% OF THE DONATIONS STAY IN THE DISTRICT. WE NEED WOODWINDS, BRASS, AND STRINGS BUT ALL INSTRUMENTS ARE ACCEPTED. AGAIN, PLEASE DONATE ALL INSTRUMENTS TO THE OFFICE WHERE THEY WILL BE PICKED UP. ALL GENTLY USED INSTRUMENTS OR CASES JUST LAYING AROUND SHOULD BE DONATED TO THE OFFICE IN YOUR SCHOOL. DONATE TODAY!
MAJORETTES: WE WILL BE HAVING MAJORETTE PRACTICES FOR INTERESTED NORTHEAST STUDENTS FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR ON MAY 15, 16, AND 17, 2023 FROM 6-8PM. TRYOUTS WILL TAKE PLACE ON MAY 22, 2023 FROM 6-8PM. PRACTICES AND TRYOUTS WILL TAKE PLACE AT NORTHEAST MIDDLE SCHOOL AND WE WILL MEET IN THE BANDROOM. STUDENTS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN TRYING OUT FOR MAJORETTES SHOULD EMAIL ME AT LGARZA@BASDSCHOOLS.ORG. STUDENTS SHOULD PICK UP A STUDENT INFORMATION FORM IN THE BAND ROOM.
IN ADDITION, WE ALSO WANT TO INVITE INTERESTED NORTHEAST STUDENTS FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR TO BE A MEMBER OF THE COLOR GUARD. SPOTS ARE LIMITED SO WE ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO EXPRESS INTEREST AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THERE IS NO TRYOUT FOR COLOR GUARD.
