The Northeast Singers have their Vocal Ensembles Concert on Tuesday, May 9th at 7 PM. Our concert will feature chorus members from Lincoln, Marvine, and William Penn Elementary schools. We’re looking forward to our collaboration with these future Northeast Students! Admission is free for our concert. Hope to see you Tuesday night!
NE Singers, we have morning performances this Tuesday and Wednesday morning for incoming elementary schools. Have your NE clothing gear ready!
MAJORETTES: We will be having Majorette Practices for interested Northeast students for the 2023- 2024 school year on May 15, 16, and 17, 2023 from 6-8pm. Tryouts will take place on May 22, 2023 from 6-8pm. Practices and tryouts will take place at Northeast Middle School and we will meet in the Bandroom. Students who are interested in trying out for Majorettes should email me at lgarza@basdschools.org. students should pick up a student information form in the band room. In addition, we also want to invite interested Northeast students for the 2023-2024 school year to be a member of the Color Guard. Spots are limited so we encourage students to express interest as soon as possible. There is no tryout for Color Guard. Students should just simply email me at lgarza@basdschools.org to let me know they are interested.
FUNDRAISER: THERE WILL BE A CAR WASH FUNDRAISER AT NORTHEAST MIDDLE SCHOOL TO SUPPORT THEPROUD-A-THON AND FUTURE PROUD SOCIETY EVENTS. THE CAR WASH WILL BE HELD ON MAY 10TH AFTER SCHOOL FROM 4 – 6PM. TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT ALL LUNCHES ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY THIS WEEK. CAR WASHES MAY ALSO BE PURCHASED ON THE SAME DAY AT THE EVENT. PLEASE COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE NE COMMUNITY AND THE PROUD SOCIETY AT THIS FUNDRAISING EVENT!

JUNIOR POLICE ACADEMY: THE CITY OF BETHLEHEM POLICE DEPARTMENT IS TAKING APPLICATIONS FOR THE SUMMER JUNIOR POLICE ACADEMY. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE STOP BY STUDENT SERVICES FORAN APPLICATION. THE PROGRAM WILL RUN FROM JUNE 12 – 23, 2023 AT LIBERTY HIGH SCHOOL FROM 8AM-3PM MONDAY – FRIDAY.
