LOST & FOUNDThe Lost and Found closet is located in Student Services. If you have lost something, please come to Student Services to check the closet. If it is a valuable item, please ask Ms. Osorio if it has been turned in. Any items not claimed, will be donated. 

AFTERSCHOOL CLUBSTUESDAYS: ESOL Tutoring Club, Step Team – All TRUE COLORS students and their allies are invited to meet with a representative from the Bradbury-Sullivan Center on Wednesday, May 10th in Ms. Anderson’s room, A113. 

REHEARSALSThe Northeast Singers have their Vocal Ensembles Concert on Tuesday, May 9th at 7 PM. Our concert will feature chorus members from Lincoln, Marvine, and William Penn Elementary schools. We’re looking forward to our collaboration with these future Northeast Students! Admission is free for our concert. Hope to see you Tuesday night! 

NE Singers, we have morning performances this Tuesday and Wednesday morning for incoming elementary schools. Have your NE clothing gear ready! 

HEALTH ROOMNEMS VFC Immunization clinic has a lot of appointments this morning from 8:30- 10:45am- please do not just send students to the HR. Please call for emergencies only! Thank you!!

MAJORETTES: WE WILL BE HAVING MAJORETTE PRACTICES FOR INTERESTED NORTHEAST STUDENTS FOR THE 2023- 2024 SCHOOL YEAR ON MAY 15, 16, AND 17, 2023 FROM 6-8PM. TRYOUTS WILL TAKE PLACE ON MAY 22, 2023 FROM 6-8PM. PRACTICES AND TRYOUTS WILL TAKE PLACE AT NORTHEAST MIDDLE SCHOOL AND WE WILL MEET IN THE BAND ROOM. STUDENTS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN TRYING OUT FOR MAJORETTES SHOULD EMAIL ME AT LGARZA@BASDSCHOOLS.ORG. STUDENTS SHOULD PICK UP A STUDENT INFORMATION FORMIN THE BAND ROOM. IN ADDITION, WE ALSO WANT TO INVITE INTERESTED NORTHEAST STUDENTS FOR THE 2023- 2024 SCHOOL YEAR TO BE A MEMBER OF THE COLOR GUARD. SPOTS ARE LIMITED SO WE ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO EXPRESS INTEREST AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THERE IS NO TRYOUT FOR COLOR GUARD. STUDENTS SHOULD JUST SIMPLY EMAIL ME AT LGARZA@BASDSCHOOLS.ORG TO LET ME KNOW THEY ARE INTERESTED. 

FUNDRAISERTHERE WILL BE A CAR WASH FUNDRAISER AT NORTHEAST MIDDLE SCHOOL TO SUPPORT THE PROUD-A-THON AND FUTURE PROUD SOCIETY EVENTS. THE CAR WASH WILL BE HELD ON MAY 10TH AFTER SCHOOL FROM 4 – 6PM. TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT ALL LUNCHES ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY THIS WEEK. CAR WASHES MAY ALSO BE PURCHASED ON THE SAME DAY AT THE EVENT. PLEASE COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE NE COMMUNITY AND THE PROUD SOCIETY AT THIS FUNDRAISING EVENT! 

JUNIOR POLICE ACADEMYTHE CITY OF BETHLEHEM POLICE DEPARTMENT IS TAKING APPLICATIONS FOR THE SUMMER JUNIOR POLICE ACADEMY. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE STOP BY STUDENT SERVICES FOR AN APPLICATION. THE PROGRAM WILL RUN FROM JUNE 12 – 23, 2023 AT LIBERTY HIGH SCHOOL FROM 8AM-3PM MONDAY – FRIDAY.

SPORTSATTENTION ANY 6TH OR 7TH GRADE GIRLS INTERESTED IN PLAYING FIELD HOCKEY NEXT YEAR: THERE WILL BE AN INTEREST MEETING IN THE CAFETERIA RIGHT AFTER SCHOOL ON MAY 24TH. ANY QUESTIONS, TALK TO COACH RINALDI IN A212. 

*THE NORTHEAST SOCCER TEAM DESTROYED BETHLEHEM CATHOLIC YESTERDAY! RYAN DUNN AND ISSAC GARCIA EACH HAD A HAT TRICK! CHRISTIAN HACKETT, WHO DID NOT GET A YELLOW CARD, SCORED AN EXTRA GOAL TOO! ISSAC GARCIA, RYAN DUNN, CASH PAULUS, GAVIN MONOHAN, AND MORILO VIEIRA ALL HAD AN ASSIST WITH THOSE GOALS. EMMI TERAN WAS STUPENDOUS AT MID-FIELD! MAZZI PAULUS, NASIR GREAVES, AND ISSAC DE OLIVE WERE A DEFENSIVE FORCE IN THE BACK! FINALLY, ROBERTO NIETO WAS THE UNSTOPPABLE WALL IN THE GOAL FOR THE HORNETS! THE VARSITY SOCCER TEAM WON THE GAME 7 TO 1! PLEASE COME OUT TONIGHT TO SUPPORT AND CHEER THE NORTHEAST SOCCER TEAM’S LAST GAME OF THE YEAR. PLEASE COME TONIGHT AT 6PM TO LIBERTY HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL STADIUM TO WATCH OUR HORNETS BATTLE THE NITSCHMANN LIONS. PLEASE BRING EXTRA CASH FOR THE SNACK STAND SHOULD BE OPEN! GO NORTHEAST SOCCER!
