BASD HISPANIC HERITAGE CELEBRATION: On Thursday, September 28th Broughal Middle School will be hosting the BASD’s Hispanic Heritage Celebration from 5-8 PM. Please see the BASD website regarding transportation to and from the event! Come out and explore the food, music, and vibrance of our Spanish speaking nations! Our NE after school vocal groups will be performing from 6:30-7:30!
GIRLS BASKETBALL: Attention 7th and 8th grade girl interested in girls basketball. Please mark your calendars. There will be open gym at Liberty High School. Whether you would like to prepare for the girls Northeast Basketball season and tryouts or would just like to practice basketball skills and have fun, come out on any of the following dates 9/11, 9/13, 9/18, 9/20, 9/25, 9/27, 10/2, 10/4, 10/9, 10/11, 10/16, 10/18, 10/23, 10/25, 10/30, 11/1 for open gym basketball from 2:45 – 4:15 pm. THANKS FOR EVERYONE WHO TRIED OUT, IT WAS A TOUGH DECISION. THE FIRST PRACTICE WILL BE DAY 1 DURING HORNET BLOCK. MR HUIE IS LOOKING FOR 8TH GRADERS WHO PLAY BAND INSTRUMENTS FOR WORLD PERCUSSION!
